NYC hotels might house Latin American refugees

New York City may enlist hotels to house thousands of asylum-seekers from Latin America, Mayor Eric Adams said. “We are representative of what this country stands for, and we will always continue,” Adams said, noting that New York is among few states that afford a right to shelter to migrants without legal resident status who are fleeing crises.
