NYC’s Hotel Pennsylvania demolition enters new stage

Interior demolition has begun at the 103-year-old Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City, with the exterior scheduled to follow in a matter of weeks. The demolition is part of the state’s plan to replace all the buildings near Penn Station with glass office towers under the direction of the Empire State Development Corporation.
