Oman Airports: Suhar Airport welcomes Low-cost Taban Airlines
With the conventional water spray salute, Suhar Airport received Friday evening 4th February 2022 the first flight of the Iranian airline Taban in a direct route between Suhar and Shiraz. This route will be joining the list of global airlines which operate their flights to Suhar Airport, Northern Gate of Oman Airports. Taban will operate a flight in a weekly basis each Friday between Suhar and Shiraz starting from this week.
Lunching the Iranian Taban airlines’ flights to Suhar Airport will rise up the number of the carriers which operate their flights to Suhar Airport up to 5 international airlines; namely, Fly Dubai, Air Arabia, Qasham Air, and Salam Air)
Launching this direct route is part of Oman Airports’ initiatives to continue promoting air traffic in the Sultanate’s civil airports which are under its supervision after lifting the restrictions of Covid-19 imposed last year where Suhar Airport implemented new travel protocols adopted across the airports in Oman for arrivals and departures alike that is in an alignment with the national efforts.
Oman Airports expressed it content by greeting the first flight of Taban airline coming from Shiraz in a direct route that is hoped to serve the passengers of the two friendly countries, boost the commercial and tourism traffic in both North and South Al Batinah Governorate, highlighting that the company has taken all health and safety measures across its facilities in Suhar Airport with a view to offer a safe travel experience with an ambition that its working teams will play their roles to introduce the tourism and entertaining offerings of Suhar city to its guests.
