Orolia, the world leader in Resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) solutions, has launched an exchange programme for aircraft operators to meet new EASA/FAA requirements for non-rechargeable lithium batteries in portable Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELTs).

Orolia’s Ultima-S portable ELT is now available for seamless, rapid integration to increase aviation safety and ensure compliance with EASA/FAA requirements.

This portable ELT exchange programme includes a variety of Ultima-S configurations that are compatible with major aircraft manufacturer programmes.  It is available worldwide to any aircraft operator that is still flying with a DO-227A non-compliant beacon.
