Outbound Stowe, a fresh addition to Vermont’s hospitality scene, offers adventure seekers a cozy and well-equipped base camp in the Green Mountains. Nestled on a 9-acre property near Mount Mansfield, this new hotel combines modern amenities with New England craftsmanship to create a perfect retreat for outdoor enthusiasts.

Debuting last month, Outbound Stowe joins the Outbound Hotels collection, following recent openings of Outbound Mammoth in California and The Virginian Lodge in Wyoming. The brand’s next venture will be Outbound Yosemite, set to open in the summer of 2025.

The 73-room hotel features a variety of accommodations, including suites, cabins, an 8-guest cottage, and a loft suite within a converted event barn. Guests will enjoy traditional Vermont woodwork and a vibrant color palette throughout the property. The hotel offers easy access to the Stowe Recreation Path and the West Branch Little River, and is just a short drive from Stowe Mountain Resort, a popular destination for skiing and snowboarding.

Outbound Stowe is collaborating with TheGoodLife! to present Camp Nice programs, a series of adult adventure camps that have been running since 2014. The hotel aims to provide a unique blend of outdoor adventure and comfort, offering a setting where guests can explore Vermont’s natural beauty while enjoying top-notch amenities.

In late August, Outbound Stowe will introduce Eastside, a new on-site restaurant developed in partnership with Folkart Management. The casual eatery will feature a diverse menu crafted by chef Mattias Merges. The hotel’s grand opening party on September 21 will showcase food trucks, a pop-up market, live music, and more, celebrating the arrival of this new adventure hub in Vermont.
