Panama to boost tourism through rehab of hiking trails

The Panama Tourism Authority is working with the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Environment on developing sustainable tourism in Portobelo and San Lorenzo. The authority and the ministries are working on several projects, including rehabilitating trails in Portobelo National Park and rescuing the coral reefs in the Bay of Portobelo since it is a popular tourist destination.
