Pendry plan: Boutique hotels with luxury pedigree

The boutique hotel brand Pendry is expanding in urban markets with properties that blend locally connected, artsy hipness with luxury touches inherited from parent company Montage. “We have essentially deconstructed the Montage hotel guest experience and rebuilt it for Pendry, utilizing the same principles that allowed us to be successful with Montage,” says Montage co-founder Mike Fuerstman.
