Airways, Vietnam’s carrier, is grappling with a pilot exodus as over 10% of its pilots have reportedly resigned in recent months due to consistent delays in salary payments. Foreign pilots, constituting a significant portion of the airline’s workforce, have been particularly affected. Approximately 30 pilots resigned in the last two months, citing frustrations over delayed payments and receiving internal messages about postponed salary disbursements. The airline, currently undergoing restructuring amid financial challenges, has not yet responded to media requests for comments on the situation.
