New York City’s hotel pipeline swelled to nearly 22,000 rooms as of July 1, according to STR, more than making up for pandemic losses and heralding a challenge to market performance. Los Angeles, Atlanta, Las Vegas and Dallas each boasted more than 5,000 rooms under construction.
