Planned water park in Derbyshire, England, draws concerns

Plans to build a water park called Amber Rock Resort on a former quarry in Derbyshire, England, have been met with concerns over the project’s potential impact on landscape, roads and heritage assets around the site. If approved, the project will house an indoor water park, a heritage center, a sports complex, an indoor/outdoor climbing center, 210 holiday apartments, a 152-bed hotel and 128 straw-bale lodges.
