Procurement leaders can use their management strategies to improve diversity and inclusion by creating a safe environment, embracing transparent decision-making, using sponsorships to help employees grow and investing in diversity and inclusion development, writes Purvee Kondal. “We have to champion processes and be willing to provide or accept the tools necessary to engage in a dialogue that otherwise is too easily swept under the rug,” Kondal writes.
