Promising Dayton lodging hopes extended across Ohio

Dayton leaders are bullish on hotel market prospects for the city and Ohio as a whole as rising occupancy meets a pipeline of new properties and the Dayton Convention Center is in line for renovation. The occupancy rate reached 55.8% in 2021, up from 41.8% in 2020, with business travel still lagging, says Joe Savarise, president of the Ohio Hotel & Lodging Association.
