Quark Expeditions Launches New Northwest Passage Arctic Cruise

Quark Expeditions is introducing a new Arctic adventure with its latest itinerary, “Northwest Passage to Newfoundland: Glaciers, Mountains, and Wildlife.” This 16-day expedition will traverse the legendary Northwest Passage, offering a unique exploration experience onboard the company’s state-of-the-art vessel, Ultramarine.

Scheduled to depart from Calgary, Alberta, on September 18, 2025, the 2,500-mile voyage promises an immersive journey through some of the Arctic’s most stunning landscapes.

The Ultramarine, equipped with twin-engine helicopters and Zodiac boats, will allow guests to experience the Arctic’s grandeur up close. Onboard experts, ranging from marine biologists to geologists, will provide insightful commentary on key sites such as Icy Arm Fjord and Cape Mercy.
