Cunard Line is set to elevate the cruising experience with its latest marvel, Queen Anne. This splendid addition to their fleet is gearing up for its grand debut in May, ready to embark from Southampton, England. With a capacity to host 2,996 guests, Queen Anne’s maiden journey will traverse an array of picturesque destinations, including the Canary Islands, Western Europe, and Norway.

Katie McAlister, Cunard’s president, shares the excitement and anticipation for Queen Anne’s inaugural season, emphasizing the importance of an enriching shore experience program. To match the grandeur of Queen Anne’s debut, Cunard has meticulously planned an array of shore excursions. In 2024, guests aboard this luxury liner will have the opportunity to choose from a diverse selection of 50 excursions across 60 ports.

The excursion roster is a blend of classic tourist hotspots and unique, off-the-beaten-path adventures. Highlights include a fjord safari leading to a quaint goat cheese farm in Norway, an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City, and an enchanting orchestra concert at a secret location in Barcelona. Additionally, guests can explore a historic gold and silversmith studio in Bergen that’s been operating for 150 years, or indulge in a wine tasting experience amidst the Enchanted Forest of Madeira.

McAlister emphasizes the extensive effort put into curating these 50 signature experiences, ensuring that guests truly capture the essence of each port. The array of excursions ranges from exploring ancient ruins and culinary adventures to luxurious helicopter rides and private snorkeling sessions, all tailored to provide an unforgettable experience.

Joining the illustrious Cunard fleet as its 249th ship, Queen Anne stands alongside Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth. The construction of this luxury vessel is currently underway at the Fincantieri Marghera shipyard in Venice, heralding a new era of opulent travel with Cunard.
