Racial history lessons taught by former Ogden, Utah, hotel

The Royal Hotel in Ogden, Utah, now a sober living facility but for decades a haven for African-Americans amid racial segregation, is getting its historical due through the efforts of a longtime resident. Sarah McClellan says young locals never have been informed of such Royal highlights as its celebrity guests and its use as an office for black military police during World War II.
