Raze 39 resort buildings, government tells China firm

A provincial government has ordered Chinese real estate developer Evergrande to tear down 39 buildings on the massive Ocean Flower Island resort off the southern China coast, a project on which the company has spent nearly $13 billion. The heavily indebted Evergrande is accused of illegally securing permits for the structures.
