The fourth quarter of 2021 was the second most lucrative ever for sales of large US hotels, at $9.2 billion, according to Real Estate Alert’s Deal Database. For the year, $21.5 billion of hotels worth at least $25 million each changed hands, an increase of 265% from 2020.
