Research concludes airports’ anti-virus efforts significantly reduce risk
Airports have done a good job of putting in place layers of measures recommended by public health experts to mitigate coronavirus transmission, such as installing clear barriers at ticket counters and security checkpoints and stepping up cleaning protocols, Harvard University researchers concluded in a new report. “Airports have made concerted efforts to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission,” said a researcher at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. The research further affirmed that the measures implemented by airports “significantly reduce the risk of contracting the virus.”
