Restrictions on cruises to remain until Nov. 1

Cruising restrictions by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will remain in place until Nov. 1 to counter the spread of the coronavirus despite calls by the industry to restart operations in the US. “Cruise lines should be treated the same as other travel, tourism, hospitality, and entertainment sectors,” said Cruise Lines International Association President Kelly Craighead.
