Review of COVID-19 hotels ordered in Calif. county

Officials in California’s San Diego County have agreed to pay San Diego State University $140,000 for a review of the local COVID-19 isolation hotel system in the wake of allegations of mismanagement. Experts will examine how Equus Workforce Solutions, which runs the program for the county, deals with arrivals, departures, physical and mental health assessments, emergencies and more.
