Revive hotel plan, officials urge Ariz. College of Desert

The tourism marketing agency for Arizona’s Coachella Valley has joined with nine elected officials in a public plea to the College of the Desert to restart stalled plans for a hospitality campus and learning hotel. The college president, Martha Garcia, suspended the project after taking office in August and an attorney advised in January that it might be an illegal use of public funds.
