Rystad: Jet fuel demand still lagging

The recovery in global jet fuel demand continues to stumble as pandemic-related international aviation restrictions remain tight in certain parts of the world, according to Rystad Energy. Global jet fuel consumption this year will lag pre-pandemic levels by about 2.7 million barrels per day, while gasoline and diesel demand will only be 1.2 million bpd below 2019 levels, Rystad estimates.
