Sale boosts hopes for stalled Michigan hotel project

The mayor of Saline, Mich., celebrated the $2.8 million sale of a partially built prospective Best Western hotel that stalled more than two years ago. “They have a strong and impressive track record of successfully completing projects, while also being active in community affairs,” Mayor Brian Marl said of the new owner, Bacall Group.
