There are two courses available: The General Course and the Weddings & Honeymoons Course. The program also includes membership in the One Love Rewards Program as well as access to the resources such as brochures, videos, partner updates and more.
Sell More Jamaica
The general course is designed to provide travel advisors with everything that they need to know about Jamaica with training for advisors selling everything from destination weddings and family getaways to special interest markets like bird watching or adventure travel.
Learning Path
There are eight chapters that cover Jamaica’s unique selling points, popular destinations such as Negril, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and more.
Experience Jamaica
The course concludes with explanations of some of the different experiences clients can have in Jamaica, including eco-adventures in the Blue Mountains, exploring history, culture and nature in Cockpit Country, recreation and sports (including golf) available on land and sea, cuisine, music, shopping and more.
Weddings & Honeymoons Specialist
Travel advisors also have the opportunity to become experts on selling weddings and honeymoons in Jamaica.
How to Plan the Perfect Jamaica Wedding
Through this course, travel advisors learn about the range of accommodation choices couples have when planning a wedding in Jamaica. The course also discusses the activities for couples and guests, the variety of natural settings for ceremonies and the ease of setting up weddings with planners or hotel management.
Graduate Benefits
Travel advisors who complete the general education course receive a Certificate of graduation as a Jamaica Travel Specialist as well as 3 CEU credits from The Travel Institute.
There is a separate certificate of graduation as a Jamaica Weddings & Honeymoons Specialist.
Cash Rewards
Travel advisors who complete the Jamaica Specialist Program have the chance to earn cash rewards. Each month, the top booking agent of the month is rewarded.
The top 50 agents and their companions are invited to the annual “One Love Affair” awards ceremony.
