Serve yourself, buyer beware: Buffets back, carefully
The all-you-can eat buffet, once considered a permanent casualty of the pandemic, is re-emerging to a highly limited extent and with new precautions in the hotbed of Las Vegas and elsewhere. Frequent wipe-downs and changing of utensils along with issuance of sanitary gloves to patrons are among measures at eight Vegas casinos that have restarted buffets in a state experiencing the nation’s worst surge in new COVID-19 cases.
