South Florida hotels offer discounted rates

Hotels in south Florida are offering cheaper hotel rates to help those who have had to evacuate because of Hurricane Ian. South Beach Group Hotels is extending its $50 per night room rate through Oct. 6 for those affected by the hurricane, while the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau is also giving discounted hotel rates, as well as a dozen other hotels.
