Southern Power Fund empowers small Black-led nonprofits

Black-led grassroots organizations often lack fundraising skills, revenue and other resources needed to scale their work, but the Southern Power Fund is trying to change that by working with nonprofit partners to distribute targeted no-strings-attached grants. The fund has raised more than $14 million and distributed $9.7 million of that total to small organizations recovering from the coronavirus.
