Southwest Airlines celebrates 50th anniversary in 2021

As Southwest Airlines celebrates 50 years in business in 2021, the airline will “share some of our more compelling and iconic Southwest stories” throughout the year that have “played a significant role in our rich and colorful history,” said CEO Gary Kelly. The airline’s celebration plans also include “inviting everyone to put their Hearts in Action to spark and inspire one million Acts of Kindness.”
