Southwest Airlines pilot pays visit to young fan

When Southwest Airlines Capt. Brian Udell heard that a young passenger was seeking him out to get an autograph, he went a big step further and delivered an autographed photo of a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800 “Freedom One” American flag livery to the boy’s house. Udell won over the fan after telling him a story about having to eject from a malfunctioning aircraft during his time in the Air Force.
