Southwest announces executive appointments, promotions

Southwest Airlines has announced several executive appointments and promotions, including creation of a new department of operational strategy and design. Justin Jones, who previously served as vice president of technical operations planning and performances, was promoted to the newly created position of senior vice president for operational strategy and design.
