Southwest celebrates 50th anniversary

Southwest Airlines has named the Birthday Party Project, an organization that partners with agencies across the country to create birthday celebrations for children experiencing homelessness, as the official “community partner” of the airline’s 50th Anniversary celebrations. The Southwest Airlines Foundation is donating $50,000 which will nearly double the organization’s resources.
