Southwest CEO Gary Kelly shared his outlook on the airline’s recovery in an interview on CNBC, citing rising demand for business travel after President’s Day weekend. “They’re anxious to get back on the road and see their customers,” Kelly said. ​The carrier’s incoming chief executive, Robert Jordan, echoed Kelly’s optimism for recovery explaining that, “With COVID-19 cases trending downward, the worst appears to be behind us.”
