Synergy Adds EMEA Executive

Serviced-apartment provider Synergy Global Housing named former BridgeStreet Worldwide executive Nigel Carter its director of development for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, effective immediately, the company announced.

Carter reports to Synergy CEO Stephen Hanton, and his responsibilities include “strengthening Synergy’s relationships with residential and commercial property agents, while expanding and deepening strategic partnerships with property developers and investors,” according to the company.

Carter spent the past 10 years as chief commercial officer for U.K.-based real estate agency Life Residential, and before that spent 15 years with serviced apartment provider BridgeStreet Worldwide, including a stint as U.K. development director.

Based in San Ramon, Calif., Synergy says it offers housing and services in more than 2,000 cities worldwide.
