TAP boosts Lisbon and Porto services for summer 2023
TAP Air Portugal’s new summer 2023 schedule will see frequencies on several popular intercontinental routes rise from the airline’s Lisbon hub.
The peak summer season will see the carrier introduce 10 additional weekly flights to five North American cities, with Boston services increasing to double daily, Miami and Washington to 10, and Chicago and San Francisco to five.
TAP will also boost flights to Brazil, with Sao Paulo increasing to 20 services a week, Belo Horizonte to seven, Brasilia and Salvador to six, and Belem to four.
These enhanced frequencies to the Americas are in line with soaring customer demand and consolidate its connections to two of the airline’s most important source markets for tourism – the US and Brazil.
Schedules have been retimed so that flight connections are faster for customers, increasing their accessibility.
The Portuguese diaspora in Venezuela will benefit from one more flight a week to Caracas, now totalling three flights a week.
Links to Tel Aviv, in Israel, will also be strengthened with a daily service next summer, meanwhile, Faro will have one more flight a day, increasing to four.
TAP’s Lisbon summer 2023 schedule is also improving frequencies on its popular European routes, with the island of Porto Santo in Madeira, again benefiting from the return of a daily service.
TAP will also launch two new seasonal summer services to destinations in the Balearic Islands, Palma de Mallorca and Menorca, with four flights per week each.
The party island of Ibiza also returns to the schedule this summer, with an increase from five to seven flights per week, along with other seasonal routes resuming to Naples in Italy and Tangiers in Morocco.
