Texas airports move forward with improvement plans

Two billion dollars in capital improvement projects are on the way for San Antonio International Airport under a strategic development plan approved by the City Council in November. The plan reflects growing travel demand in central Texas and parallels major expansion plans announced earlier for Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Austin.
