Traveler poll finds resounding local sensitivity

A survey by the woman- and veteran-owned booking platform Kind Traveler found 96% of travelers wanting to have a positive effect on their destinations and roughly half saying lodging that meets their sustainability and social standards is hard to find. Heightened involvement in local communities was among 10 trends the platform identified in its 64 partner hotels, charities and destinations.
