Tunnel’s end may be 3 years away, hotel group forecasts
The US hotel industry is on the upward trail but will find tough going and is unlikely to see full recovery before 2025, according to a new report from the American Hotel & Lodging Association. This year’s occupancy and revenue-per-room figures should reach 2019 levels, but earnings from meetings and food and beverages will lag, the association predicts using data from Oxford Economics and STR.
