Turkish returns to Porto Airport

On March 29, Turkish Airlines resumed the Porto-Istanbul route, suspended since the beginning of the pandemic.

The route will begin four weekly frequencies, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, but an increase in frequencies is planned, similar to what has happened in Lisbon, where flights resumed in August 2020.

Turkish first arrived in Porto in April 2015 and has carried more than 360,000 passengers up to March 2020. In May 2019, a weekly aircraft fully dedicated to air cargo was added, carrying 4,430 tonnes of cargo in 2020, becoming the fourth largest cargo carrier at Porto airport.

Welcome back Turkish Airlines!
