Types of trips clients are seeking

This week, we asked what types of travel clients have been expressing interest in.

Texas-based advisor Michelle Gordon has noted an increase in multigenerational vacations in which travelers make use of resorts or private villas to reconnect with family.

Karyn Farr of California is seeing two themes: cruise travel and African safaris, while safari specialist Victoria Herbert, based in Connecticut, is seeing demand for slower, more meaningful travel, with more time spent in fewer locations.

New Mexico-based Elaine Dotts has found that her clients are looking to experience local culture. Examples include all-inclusive golfing in Mexico, a walking trip from San Francisco to wine country and an adventure cruise across the Russian Arctic from Norway to Alaska.
