UK gets tough on “red list” travelers

Travelers to the UK from the “red list” countries will pay hefty fines for failing to follow mandatory quarantine measures that include buying a package of hotel, food and transportation. Penalties range from $6,900 to $13,800 for refusing to stay at a designated hotel and lying about coming from a “red list” country could result in a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
