UK still hopeful for May 17 international travel restart

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he hasn’t abandoned May 17 as the start date for foreign travel but said he wants to be prudent by considering both the coronavirus case and vaccination rates. British Airlines and Virgin Atlantic said they are optimistic and want the government to see the importance of a fast recovery.
