Ukrainian hotel business soldiers on as war takes toll

The war with Russia that’s now in its fifth month has battered the hotel industry in Ukraine, though properties in the western part of the country actually enjoy high occupancy, much of it from guests fleeing the east for safety. At least 10 hotels in invaded areas reportedly have been damaged or destroyed and others have suspended operations.
