United Airlines eyes electric aircraft opportunities

United Airlines is laying the groundwork for future fleets of electric powered regional aircraft and air taxis as the carrier evolves to meet travel demands of the future and incorporate advanced air mobility. “There’s absolutely a lot of hurdles to clear but aerospace development cycles are measured in decades and you have to get started now,” says the company’s Mike Leskinen.
