United CEO: Data supports reopening international markets

United CEO Scott Kirby provided an outlook on sustaining the airline’s recovery efforts and reiterated a call for governments to reopen international travel markets. “The data and science are pretty clear. […] I think the logic dictates that we ought to be getting that open. We’re anxious to have that happen, not just for the economic recovery and supporting jobs in places like New York City. There’s also a human element to it – there’s families that have not seen each other in 18 months and getting people back together is an important part of the world’s recovery.”
