United reports 97% of employees are vaccinated

United Airlines reports that over 97% of its US employees are vaccinated against COVID-19 a week before the company’s vaccine mandate takes effect. During a PRSA Silicon Valley and Colorado Chapters forum, Steven Restivo, United’s vice president of global communications, discussed the risk-reward exercises that went into the airline’s decision to require vaccines for employees, how it communicated the policy via emails and town hall meetings and its overwhelming employee and social media support.
