United to buy sustainable fuel in Amsterdam

United Airlines has signed a deal to buy sustainable aviation fuel for its flights departing Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, making it the first US airline to make such an arrangement at an international airport. “Reducing carbon emissions from fuel is the fastest way United will reach our 100% green goal by 2050, said Chief Sustainability Officer Lauren Riley.
