California hotel transactions have soared to historic highs this year as investors wager on the waning of the pandemic. The 243 transactions in six months beat the 2017 record by 42%, and the $5.26 billion outlay topped the mark set in 2015 by 23%, according to industry monitor Atlas Hospitality Group.
