UPS has deployed a platform that integrates a broad scope of operational data and uses predictive analytics to more accurately track packages. “It analyzes millions and millions of data points every single day to ensure that we are constantly providing the most-up-to-date information as to the status of a package, which then feeds all kinds of other systems that allow us to do better planning and better management of the network,” said Juan Perez, chief information and engineering officer.
