US airlines continue to advocate for travel guidance rooted in science

“International travel is critical to reviving economies around the globe, supporting millions of jobs in the US and abroad, reinvigorating communities and reuniting families, friends and colleagues who have not seen each other in nearly two years or longer. Amid this rapidly evolving situation, it is critical that US government decisions regarding international travel restrictions and requirements be rooted in science,” Airlines for America said following the White House’s new temporary travel restrictions, which bans visitors from South Africa and seven other southern African nations.
