Airlines for America’s member airlines have pledged to work with the federal government, fuel producers and other stakeholders in support of positive programs to make 3 billion gallons of sustainable aviation fuel available to US aircraft operators by 2030. This represents a 50% increase relative to the 2 billion gallon SAF “challenge goal” the industry announced in March. “A4A and our members are taking and are committed to action, and we are committed to working together, across this industry and with Congress and the administration, to make these goals a reality,” said Airlines for America CEO Nicholas Calio.
